Full Sized - the Halloween EP from Snacks Not Found.
Four tracks, one thesis: Halloween is Samhain. The costumes, the procession, the fire, the crowd - three thousand years of the same ceremony with better gear.
Full Sized is a joke told with a straight face. Samhain is when you leave something good at the threshold for the dead coming home. Three thousand years ago it was a soul-cake, left out so they’d bless the house instead of haunting it. The recipe changed. The transaction didn’t.
The ghosts are grinning. That doesn’t mean they’re joking.
